Transport to MatchesAdministrator2018-02-19T23:33:00+00:00

Guidelines on transport to and from matches and training

Parents /Carers are responsible for the safe delivery and collection of their child for matches or training.

Coaches and Club Staff will be responsible for the Children in their care when on the Club premises or on arrival at opponents’ cricket grounds.

It is not the responsibility of the Coach or Team Manager to transport, or arrange to transport, the children to and from the Club or match

The Club must receive permission from Parents/Carers for children to participate in all competitions and away fixtures / events

Parents are responsible for their child when arriving at training or a match until they have been registered with the Manager/coach. Parents must not leave their child at the ground until they are certain that their child has been registered. Farnham Cricket Club will not be responsible for any child that arrives for training/match and is left without being registered.

If you and your child arrive late for training/ match it is still your responsibility to ensure that the manager/ coach knows that they are present and registers them.

At the end of the session parents must collect their child from the Manager/ Coach. Please do not expect your child to come and find you at the end of the session/match.

Please collect your child promptly at the end of the training/match. Managers/ Coaches give their time freely and have other commitments at the end of training/ matches so need to be able to make sure that the children are collected safely and promptly.

If you are held up for some unavoidable reason please let the Manager/ coach know as soon as possible and make alternative arrangements if possible.

If a particular child is collected late on a number of occasions then a discussion with the club welfare officer will take place to decide on any sanction.

If your child is going home with another parent please ensure that the Manager/ coach knows at the beginning of the session. The Manager/ coach will not be able to let another child leave with someone else without prior knowledge.
